Kindred Cinema is built on a simple idea: the moments that matter most are rarely the ones anyone planned for. A held glance. A joke that lands wrong and gets funnier for it. The five seconds after "I do" before anyone remembers to clap. I started Kindred Cinema to chase those moments — first for couples, then for brands who understood that the same principle applies to their story too. Based in Rancho Cucamonga and working across the Inland Empire and Southern California, I split my time between wedding films, commercial work for brands like Pasmosa and Quint Tax Planning, and building the kind of content systems that let a brand's story keep being told long after the camera's off.

Every project gets the same standard, whether it's a wedding day or a brand campaign: show up prepared, stay out of the way, and build something that holds up.

"A wedding film shouldn't feel like a highlight reel. It should feel like you're back in the room — the noise, the nerves, the two seconds nobody choreographed. That's the whole job: staying close enough to catch it, quiet enough that it happens anyway."

The Approach

Present, Not Intrusive
Small crew, long lenses, and a lot of patience. The goal on any shoot is to become part of the furniture there when it counts, invisible otherwise.
Premium Craft
Cinema-grade cameras, deliberate sound design, and a color process built for how the film will actually be watched on a living room TV in ten years, not just a phone screen next week.
Built to Last
Every film is cut to hold up on a rewatch a decade from now, not just to perform in a 30-second social clip. Different goals need different edits this is the one built for the long game.
